Our dear Dad Colin (dec) came and took his sweetheart Joy by the hand on Friday August 18, 2023, aged 97 years, to join him once again. They were devoted to each other for 70 years. Joy was a wonderful, caring and much-loved Mum of Trevor; Mark and Lynda; Jan and Greg; Neil and Su. Loved Grandma of Luke, Kelly (dec), Natalie and Josh; Scott and Rhianna; Rachael and Ben; Zoe and Glenn: Samantha and Adam; Kaitlyn and Alex, and Lauren. Loved Great Grandma of Darcey, Jamison, Conor, Tyler, Mackenzie, Parker, Sophie, Max, Abbey, Ava and Layla.

Joy was a caring and compassionate person. She was always checking on the welfare of her friends and her neighbours.
Many years ago my mother came to Mildura because I was ill. Joy was very friendly and helpful during my mother’s visit and it was the start of a friendship that continued for decades.
Even though Joy let the digital age pass her by she was a Great letter writer (which is fast becoming a lost art).
