SPILLER, Bessie ‘Betty’ (nee Crump)

Died peacefully at Princes Court Homes on Monday September 12, 2022 aged 98 years, formerly of Robinvale. Dearly loved wife of Arthur (dec). Loving mother of Margaret Ettershank (dec) and Marion Scambler and mother-in-law of David and Philip. Proud grandmother of Sally & Ash; Kathryn; Simon & Carly; Georgina & Mark; Rebecca & Liam (dec); James & Elisha; Stephanie & Shan. Doting great-grandmother of Ruby, Nancy & Alexander Thomas; Tommaso & Clementine Boemo; Callum, Stella & Will Ettershank; Claudia & Rafael Dobson; Balthazar, Anahita & Beatrix Quin; Summer & Scarlett Scambler; Desmond, Lucy and Felicity Coffey.

Daughter of the late Bessie & Bertram Crump, formerly of Cardross.

Loved sister of Philip (dec), Eva Collett (dec), Nancy Bate (dec), Bob, Marion Bullock (dec), Ellen Hand (dec) and Judy Watt.

Family and friends of the late Betty Spiller are respectfully informed that a Memorial service to celebrate her life will be conducted at St. Margaret’s Anglican Church, Corner of Eleventh Street and Deakin Avenue, Mildura, on Friday September 16, 2022 at 2.30pm.

Betty will be laid to rest at a private family service.

    May I extend the condolences of the Fyfields to Mrs Spiller’s family. My father greatly valued the part Mrs Spiller played in fostering the new Robinvale High School. I remember her as a most kind and dignified person and trust the memories of her will sustain her family in times to come.
