    Dear Aunty Shirley and family,
My heart is with you all as we say goodbye to Uncle Kevin.
It has only just hit me that Uncle Kevin was the last of Mum’s family still with us. With his passing, so much family history, so many stories, memories, and connections to the past leave with him. That makes this loss feel even more significant.
I am so grateful that we got to spend time with him earlier this year, that visits and conversations will always be treasured memories. I am especially thankful that he got to meet Karen. It meant so much to me.
I find comfort in imagining Uncle Kevin reunited with Mum, catching up on everything she has missed and uncle Kevin telling her all about Karen. I can just picture the stories and conversations they would be having.
Please know that you are all in our thoughts during this difficult time. Sending love, strength, and our deepest condolences to you and the whole family.
    With love,
    Jan-Maree and family Xxxooo
