Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday December 31, 2025 aged 81 years. Loving husband of Mary. Much loved father and father-in-law of Phil and Net, Liz and Tony, and Michael. Grandfather/Opa of Chelsea, Ty, Luka, Bella, and Gemma.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted at the Merbein Lawn Cemetery Wentworth Road, Merbein, on Thursday January 8, 2026 at 9.30am.

We are very sad to hear of John’s passing, after such a terrible cancer battle. We were really happy to have caught up with John in the past few years. He was always one to have a chat. Andrew especially remembers his energy to get things done. He seemed to always work in top gear with no reverse. We have long and fond memories of you and John in our lives.
