I first met Kevin when I intentionally stood on his foot during the opening speeches to an exhibition at the Art Vault. We’d occupied the same corner of the room and I suspect that he felt some slight relief at being the second tallest in the room. You see Kevin was a giant of a man, that rarest of things, a person that you wish to sit next to at a dinner, someone that you regret having to share in conversation and easily the most interesting person in the room. But most, he was kind.
I am so sorry.
