Born Oppido Mamertina, Reggio Calabria Italy on July 20, 1940 and passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in Robinvale on November 1, 2023. Much loved husband of Elizabeth (dec). Loving father and father in-law of Rosa; Rocky and Ginette; Don and Leanne; Connie; Phyllis and Adam. Adored Nonno of Saverio, Rocco, Elizabeth, Charlotte, Lorenza, Isabelle and James.
Son of the late Rocco and Maria Rosa. Loved brother and brother in-law of Pasquale (dec); Francesco and Rosa (both dec); Domenica and Giuseppe (both dec); Anna and Ernesto Lando (both dec) Maria (dec); Vincenzo; Antonio (dec) and Concettina; Joe and Mary Albanese; John and Rita Albanese; Cathy Albanese and Wayne Rogers; Carmel and Don Campisi; and Tony Albanese. Treasured Uncle to all the Chirchiglia and Albanese families.
Family and friends of the late Mr. Saverio Chirchiglia are respectfully informed that his funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Watkins Street Robinvale on Thursday November 9, 2023 at 1.00pm. At the conclusion of the Mass the cortege will proceed to the Robinvale Cemetery.
Rosary will be recited at St Mary’s Catholic Church Robinvale Wednesday November 8, 2023 at 6.00pm.
If preferred in lieu of flowers donation to the Robinvale District Health Services would appreciate and may left at the service.
The family request Lutto between 1pm - 6pm.

Dear family of the late Saverio,
One of the first families I met arriving into robinvale back in 1999. This family were one of many who were kind , helpful and loved family which I am also passionate about too. This friendship lasted years . I watched how they worked, looked after their families and how generous they were to others. Fast forward 24 years and still keeping in contact I was deeply saddened to hear that yet again the family had lost a dear member. Comforted by the fact that both Saverio and Elizabeth are now united in the loving arms of our Lord. Although he will be missed on earth he is now rejoicing in heaven where there is peace and tranquility. My family and I wish to pay our respects to the family.
May his rest in peace and May his memory be eternal.
