Wow mate. Last time we caught up you were as happy, healthy, hilarious and full of life as you were when we first met in 1980 at the Surfers Paradise Hotel. Having you and Pat Pickett on the same crew was a real eye opener for a young chump like me, so I remember that day vividly! It’s colourful characters like you that make our years on the road so memorable, ….and I mean that in the nicest possible way ;-). You seemed bulletproof, but of course none of us are … so we will catch up again one day, and I’m sure hilarity shall ensue. Cheers big buddy, and thanks for the laughs.

Fare thee well Cooky. A genuine legend amongst road crews and friend to all who worked with him. One of those “larger than life” people that we were lucky to have known.
