Passed away in Merbein on Tuesday August 11, 2026 aged 79 years. Dearly loved wife of Frank. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Sue and Michael, Tom and Kylie, Paul and Toni, Craig and Louise. Adored Nan of Ashleigh, Sophie, Lachlan, Kate, Noah, Madison, Abby, Evie and great grand Nan of Jaxon and Sonny.
A funeral service to celebrate Sandra’s life will be conducted at the Chapel of McGlynn Hunt Funerals, 38-40 Madden Avenue, Mildura on Friday August 21, 2026 at 10.00am. The cortege will proceed to the Merbein Lawn Cemetery, Old Wentworth Rd, Merbein.

Sending love to you all at the loss of you beautiful mum/Nan. I had the pleasure of working with Sandra over the last 6 – 7 years. Although I didn’t see Sandra often we would speak on the phone at least weekly, sometimes daily. Our conversations would often go from work to political or current affairs, or discussing how the ATO should run….with us then laughing that we had all the answers but the powers to be never listened! Sandra was a very passionate person in whatever it was she was tackling. I will miss our conversations. She spoke often of her family and her could hear the love she had for you all. Whether it was a visit with Suzie or lately Suzie putting on the slow cooker for her now that she had shifted back here or Noah coming to fix her computer or arguing with Paul, Craig or Frank over what they had or hadn’t done. What a beautiful, strong, family lady. She will be missed.
