My deepest and most sincere condolences to all the family, Zia Caterina, Maria, Geno, Ralph, Lidia, Robert, Belinda, Ernest, Vanessa, Laura, David, and Micaela! I am very saddened by this news! I know that he will continue to watch over you, as he always did! I got to experience his caring and compassionate nature while visiting. A few fond memories that I will always keep close to the heart. The time he had to come and get us at the airpor. Or the time he came to the grocery shop to ensure that Vanessa and I were ok and claimed that he needed stuff even though we asked him before leaving if he wanted us to pick anything up for him. Or all the mornings how he wanted to feed Vanessa and I a full jar each of peaches. Or the time he came to slightly open the bedroom door to ensure we wouldn’t die of heat at night from the heater that we had in the room because it was really cold. Also, all the mannerisms and funny jokes that made me think of my Nonno (his brother Luigi). He will forever be cherished in my heart. Condolences to all the extended family and friends as well! Thinking of all of you during this difficult time. Xoxo
