On Easter Sunday aged 76 years, the curtain closed on a remarkable life with the death of Jeff Dycer (Dulcie Du Jour), the life of the party both on and off stage. Deeply loved and devoted partner of Colin. Adored father and father-in-law of Ainsley and Paul, Jenelle and Adrian. Treasured Poppy of Jazmyn, Jeremy, Evie, Freya and Mahli.
Rest easy Jeff. You will be missed every moment of every day.
The funeral service to celebrate Jeff’s extraordinary life, lived large and so abundantly, will be held on Thursday 16 April, 1pm, at the Chapel of McGlynn Hunt Funerals, 38 - 40 Madden Avenue Mildura. In keeping with Jeff’s wishes he will be privately cremated.
In lieu of flowers, and to honour Jeff’s incredible fight for 28 years, donations to ‘Sunraysia Cancer Resource Centre’ are appreciated. Envelopes provided at the service.

Dulcie/Jeff. You and Colin were one of the first people I knew when I was just coming out. You both welcomed me so warmly and heartfelt. I’ll never forget that. That was over 30 years ago. And then to see Jeff flourish as Australia’s best women impersonator drag queen and to have you both as friends is something I will hold dear for ever. Go give em hell in the Drag Queen Heaven. Love you both to the moon and back

I had lots of enjoyable times working at DT‘s with Dulcie when I first went to DTs Jeff was the chef go upstairs, I’ll be there soon Jeff transformed into Dulcie in the bathroom talking to me about my background etc. within 20 minutes we were on stage another memorable time was when a hen had her night elsewhere but rocked up to DT‘s late in the night. Dulcie got the goods on the fiancé and blue the girl away when she said that Jennifer Anne Wells and her fiancé had an event at DT’s last week absolutely hilarious. Working with Dulcie at DT‘s and Bruce on the bar was definitely my most favourite place to work every night there was enjoyable and so much fun. RIP Jeff rightly missed but never forgotten that’s for sure.
