    Dear Grandma,
A week ago I got a call to say that we had lost you in the early hours of that morning. Words can’t express how devastated we all are at losing you, but at least you are no longer in pain and are back in the loving arms of your dear Eric.
You were an inspiration to many, and were the best Grandma and great grandma we could have ever asked for. You raised your kids as a single Mum in an era when it wasn’t easy to do so, working multiple jobs at a time to support your family. Aside from spending time with your family and friends, some of the things that you loved doing included baking; sewing (I still have doll’s clothes that you knitted for me 30 or so years ago); cross-stitching; cooking; gardening and attending Church, where you met Eric later in life 🥰
We love you, Grandma, and we will miss you everyday. I can’t believe that you’re gone. xoxo
