It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Geoff aged 84 years, on Saturday July 31 2021, with the love of his life Joy by his side. Much loved father and father in law of Greg and Julia; Jenni; Corinna and Cossy Marciano; Eliccia and Craig Bryce. Adored Grandad and Great Grandad of Timothy, Samantha, Domenico, Rose, Audrey, Jaxon, Liam, Ahlai and Winter.
A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we’re together again.
Geoff,
Our love was so special
I fell in love with you my captain & a voice that
Melt my heart
What you couldn’t tell me you would sing it in a song.
We made so many memories,
We watched our children grow, and have families of their own,
You once said “did just two of us create all this?”
Sometimes impossible but always adored.
I was blessed to be with you when you took your last breathes with tears and words I love you,
My heart was torn in two
One side filled with heartache
The other left with you
Until I’m called to be with you again
Your loving wife
Joy
A father, Grandfather and Great grandfather
You always started the day with a project, putting your hands to work with a passion.
But the gift of music you shared with everyone over a generation, became your true happy place.
Thank you Dad for being our inspiration.
Now, free to sing with the Angels.
Love forever, Greg and Julia
His dreams weren’t always spoken
His wants were very few,
And most of the time his worries,
Went unspoken too.
Dad Never looked for praises
He was never one to boast,
Willingly gave his time and worked hard in life,
For the ones he loved the most.
Dads legacy is known far and wide
It has always made us proud,
No matter where we travelled
He would always pull in a crowd.
His passion was his music
His words he put in song,
An everlasting memory for us all to carry on.
He was our firm foundation,
Gave us wonderful memories and happiness in life,
And as I always promised
I will look after mum, your cherished wife.
We know we can call on your strength
In good times and in bad,
You will always be my idol
The man we called “Our Dad”
“Love you more than words”
Corinna and Cossy
Those special memories of you
will always bring a smile,
If only we could have you back
just for a little while.
Then we could sit and talk again,
Just like we use to do
You always meant to very much,
And always will do too.
The fact that you are no longer here
Will always cause us pain,
But your forever in our heart,
Until we meet again
Eliccia and Craig
Love you Grandad, Rest in Love.
Its been a privilege to be called your grandson.
You want be forgotten and I will continue the music dream for all of us.
Thank you for all you have given to those around you.
Until we meet again.
Your loving grandson Timothy, Samantha, Ahlai and Winter
Grandad ( “Da Da”)
Even though you have left us
and we are still so young,
We will always have the memories
In the music you have sung.
We know how much you adored us
And loved us with such pride,
And although we cannot see you
Now your voice will be our guide
Forever missed
Rose, Domenico, Audrey, Jaxson and Liam
