It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Tom on Friday August 28, 2026 aged 47 years. Loving husband of Kine. Adored father of Natalie and Jasmine.
A funeral service to celebrate Tom’s life will be conducted at the Chapel of McGlynn Hunt Funerals, 38-40 Madden Avenue, Mildura on Tuesday September 8, 2026 at 1.30pm.
A private interment will be held.

Tom, it is so hard to believe that you are gone. Your passing was such a shock, and you will be deeply missed.
Thank you for all the help, patience and kindness you showed us over the years. You were always there when we needed you, and your friendly and caring nature made such a difference.
It was a privilege to have known and worked with you. My heartfelt condolences to Tom’s family and loved ones. May you find comfort in the many wonderful memories you shared with him.

Takk for mange gode minner gjennom ungdomstid og videre inn i voksen livet. Da Kine traff deg, var jeg også heldig som fikk bli kjent med deg. En snill, varm og omsorgsfull person. En fantastisk mann for min venninne Kine❤️ Jeg har alltid visst at Kine har hatt det godt sammen med deg.
Etter dere flyttet til Australia har dere truffet oss ved besøk i Norge, senest i 2025 var vi ute å spiste en god middag sammen Kine, Thomas og jeg. Vi hadde mye å prate om, og det var en fantastisk kveld❤️

Thomas travelled all the way from Norway to Australia to make massive difference to the lives of those people he worked and volunteered with. A man that truly understood the importance and benefits of community.
When volunteers were required at 1st Vermont Scout Group, Thomas was always the first person to put his hand to help, especially with Fundraising BBQ’s. Channelling his inner Aussie, Thomas was always keen to get behind the BBQ tongs, have a chat and a laugh (always) with the other parents. He was such an easy person to be around.
Following his passion for experiencing Australia and making a difference, the Fagernes family moved from Melbourne to Mildura, our loss was their gain. I am sure his impact in the groups and communities around Mildura was equally indelible
