Dear Joyce (Sean and Brock),
My thoughts go wandering back to being a fairly small child and often calling at Tommy’s parents, “Big Rob” and Gladys when “Big Rob” literally fired the “Melbourne” or any of Alby Pointon’s Paddlesteamers. Somewhat older than me, I remember really happy times with Val, Sue, Tommy and Lawrence – Tommy, you were the last man standing for a long time and now you are gone and join up that family chain again but leaving Joyce to keep going without you. The world is poorer for losing you my jovial and very loving second cousin. I knew you were struggling with your health and sincerely hope that you are now at peace.
To Joyce, with whom I had such a lovely Messenger chat fairly recently – my love, thoughts, condolences and prayers are with you.
Sending all the family peace in Tommy’s passing. He was very special to a lot of Gledhill relatives, some gone before.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul , rest in peace.
