    Dear Noelle.
I have just become aware of your loss and for the past six days have watched the funeral service daily. It’s been years but the only persons I recognise are Mrs Harvey and Mick.
Noelle, I just want to say how privileged I was to know Roy and to having known him in the early years of his life. He was loved by his friends and the staff he worked with and the community of the Wentworth Shire. Roy always gave me wise council and advice and was caring and compassionate and grounded with a unique common sense.
Roy was obviously proud of his family and your friends would have grew up with your family vicariously, proudly hearing of their achievements and successes and even their difficult choices.
Michael’s speech was amazing. It gave me a deep sensitive insight into a beautiful person. The love you had for each other and he had for his family was truly exceptional. It was nice to see your son in law and hear him and your grand daughter, adding the finishing touches to paint the picture of the beautiful person Roy was.
I wish you Noelle and your family peace knowing that he had been cared for by an extraordinary family. I could feel the love that surrounded him. Thanks for sharing the service video. It helped me deal with his passing. Please give Mrs Harvey my regards. I have fond memories of her. As a kid I always wanted her as my mum.
