Passed away by his loving family on Sunday March 1, 2026 aged 76 years. Dearly loved husband of Angela. Loving father and father in-law of Helene and Sonny, Shane and Merinda, Emma, Alice and Andrew. Adored Pop of 9 grandchildren.
A Funeral service to celebrate Louis’s life will be conducted at the Chapel of McGlynn Hunt Funerals 38-40 Madden Avenue, Mildura on Tuesday March 10, 2026 at 10.30am. The cortege will proceed to the Gol Gol Lawn Cemetery.

Dear Hederics Family,
Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Lou.
The Matulic and Hederics families share a long and treasured history. I cannot recall a childhood memory that does not include you all — Margaret, Steve, Lou, and Julie. In those early days in Australia, when our parents had no brothers and sisters of their own here, they became family to one another in every sense.
Our gatherings, always filled with food, drinks, and singing, remain some of the most cherished memories of my childhood. Even now, they bring a smile to my face. Thank you for those memories; they grow more precious with each passing day.
May Lou’s soul rest in peace, and may he be reunited with Kum and Kuma — may their reunion be a joyful one.
We hold Angela, Helene, Shane, Emma, and Alice especially close in our thoughts and prayers at this time. May you find strength in one another, comfort in the love that surrounds you, and peace in the many beautiful memories you shared with Lou.
