I was saddened to hear of the passing of Joan, who has been a dear friend of mine for several years.
My most cherished memories of Joan are of listening to her play the piano, and the many hours we spent together chatting about her life and her family history. Joan allowed me to share these stories with the community, and it was an honour to do so.
Joan was a kind and caring lady, dedicated to her community. I will miss her dearly, but I will always be grateful to have called her my friend.
    Reunited with her beloved Ron.
My sincere condolences to Joan’s family.

I first met Joan in November 2017 at Julie’s house. What an impressive and accomplished woman she was! What an inspiration for the rest of us in our later years. Although I only met her a few times she will be forever In my memory. Our deepest sympathy to Julie, Sue, Margaret and all the family.
