Today we gathered to say farewell to our Jilly Joslyn who obviously meant so many different things to many people. A beautiful send off and she would be so proud of Sally and Mathew and the whole family who honoured her perfectly. To me I was blessed to know both Jilly and Mick and their family across two careers spanning some 40 years and I am 🙏 for that. Rarely have I met a more devoted and loving wife, mum, family member or friend to many. Her love and dedication for her soul mate Mick was always evident and her unwavering love for her two children Sally and Mathew and later her grandies and great grands shone through always. I admired Jills Community Spirit her faith and her willingness to help and guide so many. You always knew where you stood with Jilly, a straight shooter which is an admirable trait but she never judged, she always accepted you for who you were. I think of Jilly as a friend and whilst I am very sad at her passing especially as I had only spoken to her not more than a week before I know she is with Mick enjoying a beverage and smiling and watching over us sending strength and comfort in the many wonderful memories she shared with her family and friends. So cheers Jilly, here’s to a strong woman, who instilled love and shared her gifts and who left her mark in us all. I can almost here the glasses clink and that cheeky laugh she had. Love, respect and hugs to you Sally, Michael and Mathew and your families 😇🫂❤️💙🙏😘

Please convey to Matt and Sally my sincere sympathy for the loss of both their parents recently. I always thought such a lot of both Jilly and Mick and loved their passion and enjoyment of life. Both such wonderful community contributors and each had the others back at all times. It’s hard to come to terms with the loss of both these lovely friends, but I believe they are forever together now. RIP Mick and RIP Jill

Deepest sympathy to Sally & Matthew and their families.
We first met Jill & Mick when they operated Apex Park, we were very fortunate Jill offered their 11th St house for our wedding photos, both Mick and Jill opened their hearts and home to us. We are so ever grateful.
Rest peacefully Jill and Mick x
