Passed away peacefully on 27 July 2026, aged 92 years surrounded by her loving family. Much-loved mother and mother-in-law of Kaye and Andrew, Lorelle (Dec) and Rebecca, Robyn and Roddie, Ian and Nicole. Cherished Ninny of Liam, Lachlan and Jordan, Josh, Hamish and Emily, Cameron, Shannon, Giorgia and Bailey. Great-Ninny to Olive and Archie.
A private burial has been held in accordance with the wishes of our beloved Mum and Ninny.
Her pleasures were simple
Her needs were few
If her family was happy

I only knew Jeanne for a short time when I was going out with Jan Skerry when Jan was boarding at Jeannes home as a school teacher.
Jeanne was very kind to me and so were her children at the time. RIP Jeanne

My Condolences to Kaye, Robyn and Ian, l have lovely memories of our young years growing up on the fruit block at lrymple south and our school years, Jean was always up for a chat, a lovely, kind lady that helped where she could, l was very honoured to have cared for her , at her short stay at Murray house, Jean’s memories of the fruit block were fading but she did remember my mum Irene Chamberlain, that touched my heart, Jean lm sure you and mum are up there having a cup of tea and a scone R.I.P beautiful lady
