It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we express our heartfelt condolences to Kylie, Bronte, Decklan, and Troy, as well as to Uncle Ron and Aunty Val, and the entire family. The news of Shane’s passing last Friday has left an undeniable emptiness in our lives, and we can’t begin to imagine the depth of your sorrow.

We were incredibly fortunate to have spent time with Shane this past February. That chat we shared will forever be a cherished memory, and it reminds us of just how special Shane truly was. He was one of a kind, a man with a heart as big as his presence. The kindness he showed was unmatched, and his genuine interest in how we were doing and how our kids were growing up will stay with us forever. It wasn’t just small talk for Shane; when he asked how we were, you could tell he truly cared, and when he asked about our kids, it was with a warmth that made you feel heard.

Gunna miss ya, big fella. You were the kind of person that left an impact on everyone you met, and your spirit will remain in our hearts. You were not just a family member but someone who made the world a better place just by being in it. You were one of, if not the best.

Our thoughts and love are with all of you during this incredibly difficult time. Shane’s legacy will live on in the stories we’ll continue to share, in the memories that we’ll hold dear, and in the love he gave so freely to all of us.

Rest in peace, Shane. You’ll be missed more than words can express.

    With all our love,
Brad, Sue, Cassie, and Bryce Thomas
