Sending all of love and support to all of the MacIntosh family on Peter’s passing. He will be greatly missed by all of the Robinvale community.

Our Uncle Peter was the de-facto spiritual leader of the MacIntosh clan. As his nephew, I looked up to him when I was younger as his energy, forthright nature and sheer bloody-mindedness gave comfort to an indecisive child with his can-do attitude. He could make you cry with laughter too.

Peter always implored you to stop ‘navel-gazing’ and get on with it. When I asked him the quickest way from Robinvale to Melbourne, he said the one where your bum touches the car seat the least amount of time. Just get in the car and bloody drive Jus.

He took me on twice for my ‘call-of-duty’ at Block 7B & I am forever grateful that he gave me an understanding of where my Dad, Hew, cousins and Grandparents had come from.

When I introduced Peter to my fiancée Tracy they bonded immediately over a shared love of wine, which she always treasures. Our son, Alfie, did his ‘mini-tour’ down by the Murray River and he said the other month, I love Peter. Sometimes you don’t realise the impact that Peter had on peoples’ lives.

You will always be missed Peter, thanks for the memories.

We send our sincerest love and condolences to Robyn, Teri, Ross, James, Bernie and their families. xxx

Sharon and I are so sorry for your loss.
Peter was a great guy . There are never really words that can express the loss of a loved one. I have so many fond memories from growing up with Peter across the road on Block 10.
All our sympathy to Robyn and family
    Thinking of you

It was so very sad to hear of Peter’s death. He was such an important part of the community and as such will be sorely missed.
His loss is even more difficult to accept for those of us who were fortunate enough to know him.
