Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Loved husband of Elizabeth (Dec). Loved father of David, Sue (Clohesy), Linda (Westhead) and Neal. Father-in-law to Monica, John, Craig and Jenny. Adored grandfather of Kelly, Michael, Jack, Rhiannon, Siobhan, Conor, Aengus, Cailean, and Molly. Great grandfather (Poppy George) of Henry, Blair, Jimmy, and Lucy.

A Graveside funeral service to celebrate George’s life will be conducted at the Nichols Point Cemetery, Lawn 1, Cemetery Road, Nichols Point on Thursday August 6, 2026 at 10.00am
