    Dear Annette and dear Family

My sincere condolences to your sad loss, I feel with you.

I have fond memories of Jack, he was very special to me. I will never forget him, his kindness, his smile, his good humor, his laughter and how lovingly engaging he was.

When I arrived in Euston in 1983 it was him and Annette who welcomed me – a “Swiss girl” – so heartedly, that I knew instantly, I have found friends for life!

My thoughts are with you all.

    With lots of love,
    Eveline

    Dear Annette, Dee and Family
We have been thinking of you and we’re sorry it’s been such a sad time.
Whilst I have met Jack only a few times; I have lovely memories of him. This beautiful photo reminds me of how he was so warm and welcoming. It was always a pleasure to see him; and I could always see how special Dee was to him too. Thinking back, I remember there was an era when he would be busy looking for dip tins and the occasional wine barrel for Dee to take back to Melbourne.
Mike and I also appreciated how Jack took an interest in our new farm. We were looking for ideas and he suggested we look into goats and he made time to find articles about goat farming for us to read.
We are really sorry for your loss and hope you have many wonderful memories.
    With lots of love
