Mary was such a gentle, beautiful and kind soul. Paul and I were fortunate to spend an afternoon with her late in 2018 , sharing stories of my Dad Max and Ron , who were great mates (from childhood -going to school together in Mildura ) taking turns to do the annual Guy Fawkes bonfire nights , and always helping each other out in many ways. However , neither Ron or Mary were able to convince my Dad to "love golf " ! My Mum Marjorie and I were fondly called Marjorie May and Wendy Maie -always – by both Mary and Ron , and it was so lovely to have them both at our Wedding in 1987 . Also , Ron and Max were Best Man at each other’s Wedding .
Paul , our son Tyron and I send our love to Louisa, Robert , Christopher and families .

Mary was one of the best. In all of my life in Robinvale she was always about and always willing to talk and always happy to see you. Whenever I came home after I left she was one person that I made sure I went and saw. I was very close to her husband Ron at the Golf Club and he always had time to talk to you – 99% of the time with the lovely Mary with him. She loved everything that the Golf Club stood for and in fact she loved Robinvale and everyone from there. Condolences to the lovely Merlin family and thank you Mary for your contribution to everything you did and the positivity that you did it with. Tony
