    Dear Steve, Margie and families,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Eva’s passing at the age of 93. She was a remarkable woman whose strength and spirit left a lasting mark on all who knew her.
Eva and her family have been lifelong friends of ours, and her friendship with my Mum, Helen, was especially cherished. Both women, young migrants in a foreign land, faced the challenges of building a new life with courage and determination. Together, they forged a path not only for themselves but for the generations that followed — children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who now carry forward the legacy of resilience and love.
Their shared journey stands as a strong testament to the resilience found in friendship, family, and community, with a bond that has endured through the years.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences. May Eva’s memory be a blessing and may you her family find peace and strength during this difficult time.
    With deepest sympathy,
    Liliane Crouch (Matulic) and family
