I was extremely saddened to hear of Noel’s death. I’ve known him and his wife Iris and daughter Jan since I was a child. In recent years I was proud to be his accountant and had a lot of contact with him. I admire the way he fostered Russell into the business and the mentoring he gave to him. He always spoke fondly of his family – his daughter Jan and his grandchildren. I would call in on him at Forty Winks and have a chat quite frequently and get an update on goings on in the business and the community. He never said a bad word about anyone. Farewell Noel.
