Born in Benestare Reggio Calabria, Italy on March 26, 1949 and passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at the Mildura Base Public Hospital on March 11, 2026 aged 76 years. Beloved wife of Giuseppe. Daughter of the late Luigi and Virginia Varacalli. Sister and sister in-law of Fred and Colleen, Joe and Rosa (dec), Helen, Rocco and Rose, Rosa and Charlie, Tony and Franca. Loved daughter in-law of late Antonio and Anna-Maria Rocca. Sister in-law of Giuseppina, Teresa, Rosina, Bruno, Saverio, Filomena, Pasquale, (all dec). Maria, and Jean. Loving aunty and great aunty.

A Funeral Mass to celebrate Francesca’s life will be conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Eleventh Street, Mildura on Wednesday March 18, 2026, at 9.30am. The cortege will proceed to the Murray Pines Cemetery, Deakin Avenue, Mildura South.
Rosary will be recited at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Eleventh Street, Mildura on Tuesday March 17, 2026, at 7.00pm.
