Born Natile, Reggio Calabria, Italy on November 7, 1930 and passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Jacaranda Village Red Cliffs on August 31, 2026 aged 95 years. Dearly loved husband of Natalina (dec). Loving father and father-in-law of Sam and Kathy, Pina, Tony and Sandra, Teresa and Frank, Cathy and Louie Tabacco. Cherished Nonno to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral mass to celebrate Pietro’s life will be conducted at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Calder Highway, Red Cliffs on Thursday September 3, 2026 at 1.00pm. The cortege will proceed to the Murray Pines Cemetery, Deakin Avenue, Mildura South.
Rosary will be recited at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Calder Highway, Red Cliffs on Wednesday September 2, 2026 at 6.30pm.

Peter was Mr Romeo to us when he took a chance on 2 young ‘yanks’ to rent his block house in 1975. He & his wife were such great landlords, fast becoming friends. They raised an amazing family where their love shone through.
We managed 2 visits back to visit them since then and Peter’s warmth & sparkling eyes will remain with us. No lutto – only joy at having known such a great man💕
