Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday December 10, 2021 aged 53 years. Beloved partner of Leanne. Loving father and father in law Jacob, Sarah and Timmy, and Jessica, Adored Poppy of Aaliyah. Loved brother and brother in law of Libby and John, David and Panatda, Wendy, Janice and Mark.
A private family service will be held.

I only met Ray and his family recently as a result of Ray’s illness. You could tell that he was a likeable larrikin with a story to match every occasion. It was also obvious that he loved his family and they did an amazing job supporting him to be able to have precious time at home. It would have been amazing to have been able to share a few more stories with Ray. The last time we met, he was not able to speak, but we spent some time in the hospital courtyard. There was a cool breeze under the trees and some music playing – Billy Joel, Bob Dylan etc from our era. No words needed to be spoken – his smile said it all. I was not able to attend the service, but have watched the beautiful tribute. I was glad that we met. Condolences to Leanne and all the family
