Passed away peacefully in Mildura on Monday November 15, 2021 aged 82 years. Loved son of Albert and Erna (both dec). Loving brother of Nola, Harold and Janet (both dec), Robert (dec) and Hazel, Jean (dec), Beryl and Bob, Ray (dec) and Bev, Ken and Jennifer, Loris and Roger. Beloved uncle to all his nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service to celebrate Roy’s life will be held at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Olive Avenue, Mildura on Friday November 26, 2021 at 2.00pm. At the conclusion of the service the cortege will proceed to the Merbein Lawn Cemetery.

We remember Roy as a quiet caring man with a good sense of humour. Roy was proactive in developing new interests, especially in his interests in cars – from V8 Monaro to 4WD Toyota’s and Patrol to large off-road motorcycles . Earlier on Roy had a passion for shooting and was the only man that I know that ever shot a fox with a slug gun. Roy lived a difficult life and endured a debilitating that affected his whole live. He powered through this when others may have given up. Roy was a solid worker always there to help his brothers . To us, Roy was more a brother than an uncle. All up, a really decent guy.
