Many memories of a drummer from an early age, with the tiny first kit in the longeroom of Aunty Ruth’s Faulkner Street Meningie house.
We did not see each other often in adult years, but when we did catch up at various relative’s events, he was always happy to catch up and chat. The man on the horse reminds me so much of Pop Davis. Giddyup!

Noel aka Couch, we will miss all the cheeky banter we had over all the years of your life, when you came to our family from 3 Months old when your father was killed in a work accident. Ours and all the families of both sides rallied to make certain you had the love and support throughout your years. When you showed up after some years away and in your Mad Max Falcon we got together and kept in contact constantly. You had a big heart and willing to always put your hand up to help where needed. I gave you the nick name “Couch”, and when I told you it meant “a noxious little weed, hard to get rid of” you told me you loved it :) Seeya Cousin, keep on drumming.

Noel
No more anger and no more pain
Life dealt you a sad and unlucky hand
But, you will rock those drums once again
In heavens’ thunderous, wintery band.
Now with your parents and all your furry and hoofed friends. Thanks for the memories, Di xx (Old Fart)
