So sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing. She. RA was a lovely lady and a cousin-in-law to my Dad, Ben Stephens. Ray, was also Best man when my Dad and Mum Dollie were married. Thinking of you all at this very sad time. 🙏🏻💐love Robyn 🙏🏻💞

Thinking of all the family at this very sad time following the passing of Auntie Shirley. She was such a generous, caring and loving woman. She was always busy, always had a feed waiting for us, and somehow was never cranky, no matter how much she had going on. She was always up for a good laugh and had a way of making everyone feel welcome.

When I was a young lad, I always loved visiting Auntie Shirley and the family in Mildura. I never wanted to leave and always wished I could stay a little longer rather than return home. Looking back, I think that says a lot about the kind of home she created — one where you felt loved, welcomed and happy to be there.

I will always remember her warmth, kindness, laughter and the wonderful memories from those visits. She will be dearly missed, but she will always hold a special place in my heart. Much love Jeff, Michelle & Frankel Family

To my lovely cousins Kevin, Jenny and Darren,
Your Mum was such a beautiful woman who cared so much for all of the family and continued to visit my parents to check in on them even though she was older. I loved her and will miss her beautiful smile and laugh. All my love to you, and sorry I can’t be there tomorrow as I am away. Xxxxx
