Julie, Stephen, Matthew and families: our condolences: our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Some of my fondest memories growing up were Christmas and grandma and pops and the annual oldies, youngies cricket match. Uncle George was also the main organizer and the only uncle that could actually play the game! Fond memories for sure.

I hope you are all otherwise well and hopefully we can catch up at some stage in the future.

George and I started working together at Irymple Technical School in 1976.
He was responsible for the budgeting program for the IrympleTS farm, which was my responsibility as Head of Agricultural Studies. We both transferred to the Sunraysia College of TAFE when it started in 1979/80
George was a personal friend to me and my family and was always there to advise me when required.A devoted family man himself and a wonderful husband to Julie.
I fully agree with Dr Bob Cruise and his well deserved comments.
Rest well George knowing that lived a great life and made a lasting contribution.

My heartfelt condolences to Julie, boys & families on their loss of a much loved Husband, Father & Grandfather. 💔 My time at SuniTafe working with George was a pleasure. He always supported me in what was sometimes a challenging role and for that I’ll always be grateful. George was the ultimate gentle gentleman. ❤️
