Just brought out and polished 6 magnificent Mildura cups won back in the day. Supplied by the very generous David. We were impressed then and even more impressed now. Thanks David.

Dear Mari, Andrea, Kev, Sarah, Richard and Daniel. Our hearts are with your hearts as you farewell a giant of a man. I will always have fond memories of rowing club events, traveling backwards with Andrea in the yellow Volva to Noosa Heads, his mother being horrified at his methods to cool off under the kitchen air conditioner outlet at 911 🤣, lots of family gatherings, laughter and oh yes, dentistry. Much love. Let’s hope he’s now with Lisa again🍷💕😎

    Dear Marilyn and Family,

My sincerest condolences for the loss of David.

David welcomed me to the rowing club as a 6yo coxswain, treating me as part of the team and making the many 5:30am winter morning training sessions on the water fun.

I’ll never forget the things he used to do to lighten up my life as a boy amongst men, such as gifting me a Liverpool FC shirt or trophies when we won, plus my favourite, rides in his Jag, even if Pat and Paul weren’t so keen on that last one. He also occasionally took care of my teeth :)

His enthusiam and passion for life’s enjoyments were a positive influence on me and will be sadly missed, yet never forgotten.

    Love, Sam.

Mari and family, we are greatly saddened to hear of David’s death. We have so many memories of enjoying his inimitable hospitality. He was such great company, the sort of man you only meet once in a lifetime, and will be sorely missed.
