Srey and Bronwyn are heartbroken to advise, Peter died in hospital following a sudden illness. The ending was peaceful with Pete surrounded by great compassion and love. Beloved son of Max and Barbara (both dec). Dearly loved and loving husband of Srey. Adored Dad of Ian and Isobel. Very precious brother of Bronwyn and good friend to many.

“On the Night Train” - Henry Lawson

Did you hear the grey Bush calling from the pine ridge overhead:

“You have seen the seas and cities; all seems done, and all seems told;

I’m the Mother-Bush that loves you! Come to me, now you are old’?

In keeping with Pete’s wishes a private cremation will be held. Pete’s Ashes will be interred at a later date.

  • Richard and Margaret

    Deepest sympathies to Srey, Ian, Isobel and Bronwyn.

    Peter loved the camping life and we were fortunate to have been able to share many trips with Peter and Shrey, both in WA and then in quite a few locations in the east. Many treasured memories.

    Peter was one of Australia’s best. It is a comfort to know he will rest in peace in his home town, not far from his beloved River Murray.
