It is with absolute devastation that we announce the peaceful passing of Charles on Wednesday August 26, 2020 aged 33 years, after a long-fought illness.
Treasured and loving son to Darren and Julie;
‘Matey’, we have been blessed with you as our son, this is not goodbye it is ‘see you later.’ You are sleeping in our hearts, we will wake you when we get there, we will stop missing you when we are with you, sleep peacefully Champy.
Adored and caring big brother to Zackary and Bekki;
‘Charlie’, there is no other love like the love for a brother and there is no love like the love from a brother, you will always be in our heart, we will miss you bro, Rest Easy.
Special mate to Blair and Tyson, brother in-law to Erin;
‘Charles.’ A joke, a laugh, a comment, a smile, you are very special to us, we will carry your memory with us through our lives with love and a smile.
Much loved first Grandson to Barrie and Bev Tyson and Doug (dec) and Betty Thomas;
There is nothing like a Grandson to put a smile on your face, a lump in your throat and pride in your heart, we will cherish our memories of you for eternity.
‘We are no longer who we were.
Losing you has reshaped us all forever.’

My big brother, I am so incredibly heartbroken I can’t seem to put it into words since I heard what happened.
I’ll forever miss seeing your car pull up, I’ll miss all the funny stories you always had, I’ll miss quoting our favourite comedians and movies/tv shows everyday. I’ll miss everything about you.

Charles, I’m still in utter shock you are gone.
You were the best brother in-law I could have had. You welcomed me into your family. You always managed to bring a smile to everyones face, even in hard times.
