On Easter Sunday aged 76 years, the curtain closed on a remarkable life with the death of Jeff Dycer (Dulcie Du Jour), the life of the party both on and off stage. Deeply loved and devoted partner of Colin. Adored father and father-in-law of Ainsley and Paul, Jenelle and Adrian. Treasured Poppy of Jazmyn, Jeremy, Evie, Freya and Mahli.
Rest easy Jeff. You will be missed every moment of every day.
The funeral service to celebrate Jeff’s extraordinary life, lived large and so abundantly, will be held on Thursday 16 April, 1pm, at the Chapel of McGlynn Hunt Funerals, 38 - 40 Madden Avenue Mildura. In keeping with Jeff’s wishes he will be privately cremated.
In lieu of flowers, and to honour Jeff’s incredible fight for 28 years, donations to ‘Sunraysia Cancer Resource Centre’ are appreciated. Envelopes provided at the service.

So sad to hear the news.
My condolenses Colin and the broader family.
One of my favourite (among many) memories of Dulcie is getting ready at their place and sharing the limo ride to the Rainbow awards, his wig sticking out of the sunroof.
Thanks for the laughs.

My dearest Jeff. Extremely sad, to hear of your passing. I will forever, be grateful to you, for taking me, under your wing, in Bendigo, as a silly, coming out, 18 year old. You were more than kind to me, and it’s something, l will never, forget. I had my 21first, at your home. You cared. We only saw each other out at clubs, or when you were preforming, but, you always had time to say hello. Your light, just shon. Thank you, Thankyou Thankyou. Steve

Dearest Dulcie, thank you for your kindness and support: first of all you gave it to my mum Nan as president of P-Flag, she was always very appreciative of your support for her, and I loved bringing her to DTs and you’d always squeal and give her a huge hug. You also gave Glenda Waverley her start. I am incredibly indebted to you for that. Sadly I cannot find any photos of us together which I’m very sad about. I know how much you hated cancer; but you fought a battle. I know that you are now at peace; you leave an enormous legacy to the history and hearts of the Melbourne drag and gay scene. Much love, and love to Col and your beloved girls.
