Hello from Adelaide Hills resident, Graeme McVitty. I am chronically unwell and was surfing The Net for the name of someone I had known decades ago, when I stumbled on news that Teerry Kassulke had passed away on 2 September 2021. So I am writing in a state of shock on this Saturday 1st July 2023.
Terry Wayne KASSULKE. I was a child on the banks of Yatco Lagoon from 1948 to 59. It is VERY complicated. But I remember Terry and Sue because my guardians rented from Paul Kassulke. I have some memories of Terry BUT one REALLY stands out. He was a lad of 4 and was NOT scared to confront a BIG bull who had chased Sue [His Sister] and me up a tree. HE saved us from injury AND LOUDLY let us know he HAD saved us as Barbara [His Mum] came running to see what all the noise was :-) I can still ’’see’’ Sue and me straddling that tree branch :-)
I am saddened to learn that Terry suffered from terminal cancer; my Heart IS Heavy. Cheerio. Graeme McVitty
