Barb you were one of a kind, the way you looked after your siblings and then found your soul-mate Ken. You will be sadly missed but always loved.

    Dear Aunty Barb,
As I write this, the tears slide dow my face yet I know that’s not what you would want. So I wipe them away and instead smile at the thought of hearing your voice. I will try my best not to go on for too long, but how do you sum up in just a fews sentences how much a person means to you and the echoes of memory that span over a life?
I have so many fond memories going to your house at the block as I grew up. Picking grapes, riding on the tractor, swimming in the pool…a roast dinner at your house was like a warm hug every time. You cared for me like I was your own child and I’ll always cherish you for that. Your home in Mildura became a second home for me also, when Mum and Dad travelled to England I stayed with you and Uncle Kenny. We would sit at the breakfast bar together chatting away, your patience and compassion knew no bounds. Your laugh was contageous and your positive mindset was inspiring. You have led by example to always help others and the support you gave your family was greater than God’s love. What a blessing we all were given to have an Angel here on Earth in our lives. Rest peacefully Aunty Barb, I know you are still with us. So much love to you Uncle Kenny, Kerren, Tracy, Kevin and all the kids xoxox

Barb, looking back how lucky we were to have met you and Ken on that overseas coach trip many years ago and all the mini trips since then. Your home was like a home away from home and you both welcomed us like Family. I could always count on you to tell me the truth. You had a good heart and a sense of humour. I will miss our telephone chats, which were a regular thing. Mark and I will miss a lovely friend . Rest peacefully Barb. Love to Ken and your lovely Family x

Barb, today is the day you will be laid to rest. But you know what they say – God only takes the best. You were a great friend with a big heart and a great work colleague. With your dry sense of humour and wit, you would have us all in fits of laughter. But best of all you were a great example of what love is, Your husband Kenny and your family were your everything. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to Ken, family and grandchildren. RIP Barb.
