First met Janene and Des as advised by Malcolm McLean my boss. This lead to meeting all the gentry of Red Cliffs at Des’s bar. Red Cliff’s Club was a popular spot for us on Friday nights which seemed to have late hours. Camping on the Murray produced some late night debates which often made standing difficult. Bus trips with a variety of community representatives was enjoyable under Des’s organizational skills. Those of us left will miss you but not forget.
