Our thoughts are with Rod, Jenny, Robert and their families at this sad time. Hugh was a wonderful colleague and friend to us . He was always supportive, considerate and wanting to work towards the best outcome for his students, colleagues and friends. We have missed our regular contact with Hugh. Rest in peace Hugh.
John Bradley
I spent much time with Hugh in the 80s and 90s in Scouting and in Gang Show. Hugh was a highly talented, educated and dedicated man. His work with young people in schools and Scouts was a very positive contribution to the greater good. I last saw Hugh at the Gang Show 40th Anniversary show, when we were seated together. Though it had been years since we had seen each other, we immediately reconnected and his charm and humour shone as always. Lost too young, he will be sadly missed. Condolences to his family. John Bradley.

Total shock and dismay when given the news of our dear Hugh’s passing. Sorry we can’t be there in person to help celebrate this magnificent mans life. We will however be live streaming the service. To a life well lived and loved. Rod, our deepest condolences.
