Enid – you played a pivotal part in all your girls going through MHS and then I had the privilege of being a work colleague. What a wonderful person with such visionary ideas in education as well as being a great mentor to everyone. Your wonderful stories photos of the Antarctica and travel. I life well lived. RIP Enid

We will fondly remember Miss Borschmann for her wise words, her great sense of justice and her wonderful dry wit.
Our sincere sympathy to Enid’s family.

I met Enid through Noddy Fletcher who wintered with Enid at Macquarie Island, what a wonderful woman, we had a few coldies together at ANARE midwinter, I would have loved to have her as a chef.

Vale to a magnificent woman who lived more in her 88 years than the rest of us could in double that time.
Thank you for the memories, the experiences and love.
    Always treasured.

On behalf of ex students of Bairnsdale High School we are all so very saddened to hear of the passing of Miss Borschmann. What an inspiration she was to the girls in the 50’s as our Domestic Arts teacher. I don’t think that today we make a bed without thinking of her as to how to do the Hospital corners or how to (believe it or not) make a sandwich. What an inspirational sports mistress she was as well. Miss Borschmann, you are remembered with such love and respect. RIP
