Don was an icon in Mildura – a true visionary who assisted with putting Mildura on the map and raising the standard of what was available in the town. He was held in high esteem by my late husband Kevin who enjoyed his times with Don.
My heart goes out to all of his family but particularly to those I was closest to – Donata, Maria, Domenico, Claudia and Stefano.
A great loss to his family and the community.
    Sending my love to everyone

Most saddened to hear of Don’s passing and loss of a good friend. I convey my sincere condolences to Donata and Maria, and the extended Carrazza Family. My thoughts are with you.

My apologies for not being present today, still I have many fond memories of times shared with Don, between The Grand, Mildura Club and broader Community. A true visionary, I remember with great pride the 2010 Victorian State Election and Don’s passion for his ‘Jewel’ and ‘Casino’ Proposals. Certainly a missed opportunity for Mildura!

Your friendship has been my pleasure Don, may you rest in peace. – Doug Tonge

Mr C was a true charm, and it was always a pleasure to see him, bringing a calm and reassuring presence wherever he went. I feel blessed and honoured to have known him, and it is still difficult to accept that he is no longer with us.

He lived an inspiring life defined by unwavering commitment and dedication in everything he did. As the heart of the Grand Hotel, his presence will be deeply missed. I am certain that, even now, he watches over the Grand and all of us with the same quiet care and attention.

My heartfelt condolences to Maria, Mario, Donata, and the entire family during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace. You will be deeply missed, Mr C.
