Passed away peacefully on August 7, 2026 in Mildura, aged 86 years.
Loving husband to Anna (dec). Loving father and father-in-law to Donata and Stefano, Maria and Mario, Rohan and Melissa. Adoring grandfather to Kurtis, Domenico, Claudia, Massimo, Luca, Dante, Georgia, Charlotte and their partners. Adoring great-grandfather to Layla, Amelia and Maia.
Life is changed, not ended.
Family and friends are respectfully informed that a Requiem Mass will be conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mildura on Saturday August 15, 2026, at 10.00am.
In keeping with Don’s wishes a private family interment will follow.
Rosary will be recited at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Eleventh Street, Mildura Friday evening August 14, 2026 at 7.00pm.

I first met Don in about 1966 when he introduced Sunraysia, and me, to Gelati. Dons contribution to the well being of the community of Sunraysia, cannot be overstated. He was a great visionary, innovator, loyal, "man of his word " and will be sadly missed by us, and untold others. He continues to be a role model, led a classic life, rising from his migrant boyhood to the prominant position and standing that he so richly deserved. Above all, he was highly respected. I think he is an important role model ,in todays society and we can learn a lot by his beliefs. He was a committed Family man and friend, a Sunraysia community leader, a proud Australian citizen, who enthusiasticlly embraced Australian customs, who never forgot his treasured Italian heritage. A person I respected and hold in high esteem ! A dear friend. Thank you, Don.
